MicMacMusic uses the latest computer and Internet technologies. Therefore, in order to enjoy our website, you will need to be connected to the Internet with a broadband connection (minimum ADSL 512kbits/sec connection speed). Please note that viewing MicMacTV full-screen programmes require to use recent computers and very high-speed Internet connections (minimum ADSL 3Mb/sec connections or ADSL 2+)
SOFTWARE REQUIRED ON MICMACMUSIC You need to have the latest versions of Flash (currently Flash 10) and Quicktime (currently Quicktime 7) installed on your computer. Use the following links to download: Quicktime Player - Flash Player
BROWSING BOOKLETS Clicking each CD thumbnail or text link will launch a full-screen pop-up window allowing you to browse the full sleeve notes as you would with a real CD booklet. Click each page to turn it. Please note Internet Explorer users must use the text link to launch the Booklet Viewer.
SAMPLING CDs Click the 'Play' button under each CD thumbnail to start listening to the CD's first track. Click the 'Stop' button to stop sampling. Click the 'Next' button situated on the right side to access the CD's second track and so on... MicMacMusic allows one (sometimes two for long tracks) minute of each track to be sampled
DOWNLOAD AUDIO FORMAT The tracks available to download are encoded in a high-quality mp3 format (320kbits/sec) and the amount of digital copies you will be able to make is not limited. Therefore, as mp3 is not a proprietary format, not only will you be able to play your purchased tracks on any of the mp3 players available on the market, but furthermore, you will not be limited in any way to burn mp3 CDs or copy/transfer them to any device that could play them.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUR PURCHASED TRACKS? You need to be logged in to access your download links. Please log in using the 'LOG IN' link situated on the right side of the top navigation bar. Use the email address and password you entered when you registered to MicMacMusic.
Once successfully registered, click 'MY ACCOUNT' on the top navigation bar. Your orders will all be listed under 'Previous Orders'. Click the 'view' button corresponding to the order you wish to download. You have now reached a page called 'Order Information'.
Your download links are situated right at the bottom of this page, giving you also the link's expiry date and the number of remaining download trials. (Please note that you have initially 2 days and 5 download trials to complete the download process)
Click each Download button to trigger the download process.
Once downloaded, you will have to decompact the .tar archive. If you are using a PC, use Winzip or WinTar. If your computer is an Apple Macintosh, use Stuffit Expander.
